Artpipes looks forward to a regional celebration of community and the Arts with its first festival effort, NEW ENGLAND ARTS FESTIVAL. The New England Highway connects the large country region, serving as a gateway between Brisbane and Sydney on Australia's eastern tablelands. A picturesque area of stark contrasts and many committed communities which have independently built outstanding infrastructure and resources in terms of the Arts and culture over the last few decades.

NEW ENGLAND ARTS FESTIVAL brings international co-operations from the USA, CANADA, GERMANY and POLAND, among others, as well as outreach projects forming a regional exchange network for local towns. Artpipes aims to provide Australian Arts practitioners outside major metropolitan areas ample opportunity for cultural exchange and international experience throughout the festival. We look forward to welcoming you to the NEW ENGLAND region in 2018! Stop by for regular updates and a new website coming soon.

Theater KEKSE was resident ensemble at the Regenbogen Privatgrundschule in Freiburg, July 2016. An intensive week with 30 international students, including newly arrived students from Syria, saw our participating students ranging from 1st - 4th grade bring their very own version of KEKSE'S jungle adventure to life. Impressive masks, creative music, dance elements, acting....and all in English within one week! The students gave a fine performance at the annual Turkish-German Cultural Festival held at Freiburg's Eschholzpark on Saturday, July 16th. It was a pleasure to work with such creative young minds!
